Welcome to the music academy of composer and guitarist Connor Patrick Rogers! Previously known as Red Opus Music Lessons in Los Angeles CA, the academy has now relocated to Winter Garden, FL. As a multi-instrumentalist and Berklee College of Music graduate, Connor has over five years of teaching experience. Connor even taught music as an undergrad, working for Berklee Core Music Tutoring.
We specialize in teaching students of all ages and skill levels, creating a fun and welcoming environment for families and individuals alike. Whether you're in the Winter Garden area for in-person lessons or joining us online from anywhere, we offer a unique learning experience that blends jamming with songs and diving into advanced music theory. From beginners to seasoned musicians, we focus on building strong technique while making sure you have a blast playing your favorite music and mastering your instrument! We teach everything from technical metal solos to strumming Taylor Swift!
Connor's expertise extends beyond teaching—he is a commercial trailer composer, classical composer, and studio guitarist. He has composed and scored numerous projects, including the album Beyond The Edge of Imagination for Amadea Music Productions. His guitar work is featured on Audiomachine albums, and his compositions blend orchestral and synthetic sounds, creating powerful, cinematic music. With a wealth of experience across various music genres, Connor brings a professional, real-world perspective to his lessons, helping students understand how to apply their skills to a wide range of musical projects.
